Job summary

Asia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a proactive Finance Manager to translate financial insights into smart decisions that drive growth. The role covers disputes resolution, budgeting and forecasting, month-end closes, and financial reporting for investors.

You will lead the finance function, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with executives to optimize profitability and ensure accurate taxation across PMS, POS, and SPA systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 5+ years as Hotel Finance Executive or equivalent position.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and hotel accounting.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Experience with PMS systems: Opera, Room Master, Protel, Visual One, Delphi, Sun Finance, Oracle Finance, SAP, Xero.
• Experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Strong communication and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Resolve billing disputes to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Represent finance in daily dept head meetings with the GM.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning aligned with hotel goals.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure correct taxation on all billing software and systems.
• Provide financial analyses and present reports for meetings and investors.
• Train hotel operations on finance, internal controls and payroll.
• Improve internal controls and financial processes for efficiency.
