Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and related software.
• Familiarity with cost accounting systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze general ledger balances.
• Verify accuracy and recommend corrections.
• Prepare monthly cost accruals, reconciliations and balance sheets.
• Analyze and present financial data using appropriate methods.
• Prepare timely reports and communicate with functional areas.
• Forecast cost trends, workcell statements and flux analysis.
• Train other employees within and outside the department.
• Maintain and analyze the company's cost accounting system.
• Analyze payroll costs, benefits, and general business conditions.
• Prepare financial statements, ledgers, and tax information for reasonableness.
• Support other finance areas to meet department goals.
