Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to oversee financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and risk management across jurisdictions. You will lead a team, drive audits, and partner with executive management on financial strategy.

The role requires a degree in accounting with ACCA or equivalent and at least 15 years of hands-on finance experience, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and ACCA or equivalent.
• 15 years' hands-on experience in a similar capacity.
• Proven leadership with strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial reporting, statutory reporting and Bursa announcements.
• Oversee multi-jurisdiction finance operations, budgeting and tax planning.
• Lead, coach and manage a finance team to meet targets and timelines.
• Ensure annual audits meet regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Drive automation and optimization of finance processes and reports.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers and secretaries.
