Job Description:
Opportunity Sourcing & Evaluation: Proactively identify, source, and evaluate new markets, potential partnerships, or new business models.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Planning: For identified new opportunities, lead the development of detailed business plans and go-to-market strategies.
Commercial Strategy & Sales Enablement: For existing business lines requiring growth, analyze commercial models and sales channels to propose optimization strategies and provide strategic support to sales and marketing teams.
Strategic Partnership Development: Identify potential strategic partners, establish initial contact, and lead the preliminary planning and analysis of partnership models to provide strategic support for final negotiations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all department / projects heads to ensure all business development plans are highly viable and have strong internal support.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, source, and evaluate new markets, potential partnerships, or new business models.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments using market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
- Lead development of detailed business plans and go-to-market strategies for identified opportunities.
- Analyze commercial models and sales channels to propose optimization strategies and provide strategic support to sales and marketing teams.
- Identify potential strategic partners, establish initial contact, and plan partnership models for final negotiations.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure business development plans are viable and have internal support.
Job Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of successful experience in Business Development, Corporate Strategy, or Strategic Partnerships.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in developing new business, closing strategic partnerships, or achieving significant market growth. Ability to articulate how a business development project progressed from analysis to execution.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense and market intuition, with the ability to quickly understand different business models and identify opportunities.
- Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Exceptional skills in analysis, financial modeling, and problem-solving, with the ability to convert complex market data into clear business logic and actionable plans.
- Influence & Communication: Outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with and influence senior leadership and department heads in a non-managerial role.
