Job summary

MKS PAMP Malaysia is seeking a skilled Balance Sheet Reconciliations Specialist to strengthen the financial control environment by centralising key reconciliation activities within the Shared Services Centre. The role supports timely and accurate reporting and ensures adherence to internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in accounting or shared services, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP/Oracle. IFRS knowledge is a plus, and Malaysian citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or Shared Services Centre.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.
• IFRS knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SAP/Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Malaysian citizen only.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts (bank, inventory, intercompany, VAT, etc.).
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and outstanding items.
• Collaborate with finance teams across entities to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Prepare and maintain reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation.
• Ensure reconciliations align with policies, standards, and internal controls.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for reconciliations.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for audits.
• Monitor quality of balance sheet accounts and escalate issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and financial control.
