Job summary

A leading global energy company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join their Group Finance & Consulting Department. You will provide financial advice and support to senior management on diverse governance and commercial matters affecting affiliates, prepare board meeting briefings, coordinate analysis, and mentor team members. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, relevant professional certification, and have 10-15 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in financial reporting, IFRS, management advisory.
• Experience with the Big 4 firms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to Senior Management on financial matters.
• Deliver informative briefings to senior management for decision making.
• Review board materials for Affiliates and prepare insightful commentary.
• Coordinate the preparation of impairment analysis and Purchase Price Allocations.
• Support compliance with Group governance and prepare financial statement disclosures.
