Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

To ensure efficient material planning to support continuity in service to internal customers and members. In material planning and stock replenishment, you must ensure that stock balance is maintained at the optimum re‑order level in accordance with established guidelines.

To issue Purchase Requisitions for stock replenishments and new orders.

Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders and highlights immediately to the Cost Controller and Central Purchasing Department on differences in quantity and quality for immediate follow‑up.

To ensure that receipts, issuance of goods and Goods Receipt Notes are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines.

To ensure timely and accurate update of stock or bin cards to reflect stock movements.

To maintain an efficient and accurate database of stocks in the Stocks Systems.

To plan and perform monthly, periodic and annual stock count and ensure an accurate record of stock count in the stock sheets in accordance with the established procedures and guidelines.

To ensure timely submission of all Delivery Notes &/or Invoices, Goods Receipt Notes, Stock Report and other stock documents to the Accounts Department by required deadlines.

To ensure proper and conducive storage for all stocks to prevent deterioration.

To ensure store area meets the requirement of local authorities but not limited to guidelines of Bomba.

To report on stock variances, damaged and obsolete stocks to the Cost Controller and Head of Finance.

nsure proper filing and maintenance of all records of stocks and other documents.

Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.

To execute assignments and duties as when is required by the Finance Manager and/or the Financial Controller.
