1. Receiving and Inspection
- Receive incoming goods from suppliers and verify against Delivery Orders (DO), purchase orders, and specifications.
- Check item description, quantity, condition, batch number, and expiry date upon receipt.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns to the superior immediately.
- Ensure received goods meet food safety and storage requirements before acceptance.
2. Storage & Inventory Management
- Store raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods in designated storage areas according to warehouse layout and SOPs.
- Ensure proper implementation of FIFO / FEFO practices, especially for frozen and perishable items.
- Maintain correct labelling, segregation, and traceability of goods.
- Ensure cold room / freezer storage conditions are maintained and monitored.
3. Issuance & Dispatch Goods
- Issue and release goods accurately to production, logistics, or customers based on approved requisitions or DOs.
- Ensure correct item, quantity, batch, and expiry date are issued.
- Support loading and unloading activities while maintaining product integrity and safety.
- Ensure documentation is completed and recorded accurately.
4. Stock Control & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the system and manual logs where applicable.
- Perform daily cycle counts, monthly stock counts, and support annual stock take exercises.
- Investigate and report stock variances, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure all inventory records are traceable and audit ready.
5. Warehouse Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation in accordance with 5S, GMP, and food safety standards.
- Ensure proper housekeeping of storage areas, racks, pallets, and equipment.
- Comply with workplace safety, food safety, and company policies at all times.
- Immediately report any food safety risks, pest issues, or safety hazards to the superior.
6. Cross-Functional Support & Ad-Hoc Duties
- Work closely with Production, QAQC, Logistics, and Procurement teams to support operations.
- Assist during audits, inspections, and compliance checks when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior or Management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Secondary School / SPM / O-Level or equivalent.
- Certificate or vocational training in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain is an added advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, storekeeping, or inventory handling.
- Prior experience in F&B manufacturing, especially frozen food, bakery, bread, or pastry production, is preferred.
- Experience handling raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling, lifting, loading, and unloading tasks.
- Willing to work in cold storage or freezer environments when required.
- Able to work shift hours, weekends, or overtime based on operational needs.
- Responsible, disciplined, and trustworthy.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and record-keeping skills.
