Store Support Analyst (MY) – IT Infrastructure
Responsible for the IT Infrastructure platform (Servers, Network, Workspace & Retail Tech) across stores, head office, and data centers, ensuring secure and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Assistant Manager – IT Infra, you will be responsible for:
- IT infrastructure support for stores, head office & data center – respond to store feedback, including network connectivity, POS, time clock, handheld terminal, Wi‑Fi, and other IT equipment; resolve issues within SLA.
- Maintaining and securing infrastructure – servers, network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, data backup; conduct daily pulse checks, schedule maintenance, system patching, and security updates.
- Providing workspace support in head office – help and guide business users with IT issues.
- Managing user identity & access management – provisioning, modification, and termination of user IDs and accesses in a timely manner, complying with IT standards and procedures.
New Store Opening / Store Refitting – IT Readiness
- Coordinate with project, operation teams, and stakeholders on new store openings and store refits; manage IT equipment setup and configuration.
- Ensure network connectivity and device installation at stores follows IT standards.
IT Projects Execution
- Implement projects and initiatives with business stakeholders, IT reps, and vendors to improve IT infrastructure, expand features, and enhance security.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, report status updates, and manage risks and resources.
- Provide knowledge transfer documentation to field support upon project completion.
IT Administration Work
- Maintain IT hardware/software inventory across head office, stores, and data centre; provide regular reporting.
- Provide monthly summary updates on tasks and projects to supervisor.
- Maintain and update IT documentation, including architecture diagrams, tech master listings, IT procedures, and configurations.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and business stakeholders on IT purchase requests and goods receipt notes.
Qualifications
- Recognized diploma or degree in computing or related fields.
- 3–4 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure roles, preferably in retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of server administration (Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, file share, domain management).
- Strong knowledge of network administration (SDWAN, network architecture design, IP address management, firewall, DLP, load balancer, Wi‑Fi); CCNA/CCNP certification advantageous.
- Experience in in-store retail technology – POS systems, Wi‑Fi, RFID, footfall system; Dynamics 365 POS knowledge advantageous.
- Strong technical acumen, analytical & problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent team player, self‑motivated, results‑oriented.
