A leading manufacturing firm in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a responsible Storekeeper to manage inventory effectively. The ideal candidate will handle receiving, inspecting, and storing maintenance spare parts while maintaining accurate records and monitoring stock levels. This role requires a minimum SPM certificate and experience in a similar environment. Receive, inspect, and properly store maintenance spare parts, tools, and materials
Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receiving and issuing items
Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for maintenance operations
Issue spare parts and materials to the maintenance team based on approved requests
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
Ensure the store area is clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards
Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for reordering spare parts and consumables
Prepare inventory reports and assist during audits
Minimum SPM / Certificate (technical or mechanical background is an added advantage)
Experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a maintenance or manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or maintenance spare parts
Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills
Responsible, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Experience using inventory or ERP systems
Valid forklift license
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and 5S practices
