Job description

As a Store Manager at Kens Apothecary, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of your designated store. Your primary focus will be on driving sales, ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers, and maintaining brand standards. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and Operation Manager to implement strategies that align with the company's objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILILITIES
Operation
  • Serve as the primary contact for the designated store-related inquiries and issues.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely manner.
  • Oversee sellable and non-sellable stock inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely order and return processes.
  • Collaborate with Operation Manager to optimize stock availability based on sales trends and customer insight.
  • Monitor store cleanliness to the highest standards as per guidelines.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team to create visual appealing displays.
  • Ensure that the store layout and presentation align with the brand image.
  • Collaborate with the Operation Manager to implement operational best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing and promotional activities.
  • Actively assist and ensure smooth operation and execution of new product launches and marketing activations.
  • Actively participate in workshops and store events, being present at all times.
  • Approve roster management and oversee workforce allocation for optimal balance.
  • Attend the monthly management meeting to highlight retail issues and contribute new ideas for future improvement.
  • Collaborate with beauty advisors to collectively achieve and exceed store targets, taking ownership of the team's success.
  • Provide feedback to individual beauty advisors and recognize exceptional performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement customer retention strategies, such as loyalty program or exclusive offers for repeat customers.
  • Actively contribute ideas to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Communicate KPIs and store achievements to beauty advisors.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager and execute sales strategies set by Sales Manager to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Communicate information on sales goals and targets to BAs on a continuous basis.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance metrics and customer feedback, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Partner with the trainer for individual Beauty Advisor training and developing product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Ensure that the store provides a welcoming and customer-focused environment.
  • Coach beauty advisors in a timely manner to enhance performance and achieve individual KPIs.
Reporting
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager and Operation Manager to compile comprehensive reports that contribute to overall business analysis.
  • Generate regular reports on sales, inventory levels, and customer feedback to provide insight into store operations and sales efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to all sales and operational procedures, and submit all required reports in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the beauty or luxury industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful retail team.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Skills
