Job summary

A leading logistics company in Johor, Malaysia is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the last mile delivery process. The role includes tracking shipments, managing staff, ensuring cash handling and daily operations run smoothly. Candidates should have a relevant diploma and at least 2 years experience in logistics or supply chain. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Diploma/Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Preferably specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Track and deliver shipments from pick-up to delivery.
• Manage staff and ensure proper task completion.
• Handle cash on delivery and bank it daily.
• Control inventory and manage shipments to prevent missing parcels.
• Contribute to ISO and safety management systems.

Job Descriptions

• Job Descriptions:
• Track and delivery shipment from picked up and delivered
• Manage staff / subcon / part-time to ensure they carried out their job properly and completely.
• Standing as a hub manager as and when necessary
• Handle cash on delivery money and ensure to bank in everyday
• Work closely with customer service and fulfill customer request
• Taking care of daily operations and make sure everything go smoothly
• Controlling inventory and take care of every shipment to reduce the risk of missing and damaged parcel.
• Any other task instructed by superior
• Others:
• Conforms to the ISO 23412 Cold Chain Management System (CCMS), ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System & Halal Assurance System.
• Take care of own and others' safety.
• Participate in QMS, OHS & GDPMD related programmes such as training, campaign, induction and others.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
