GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible for rendering professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital. Such nursing care is an integral part of the individualized holistic patient care plan as directed by the medical staff according to the Policies and Procedures of the hospital and in keeping with the generally accepted principles, policies and procedures of the Nursing Services.

RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Performing professional nursing care to patient.
• Direct supervision and co-ordination of the activities in the allocated unit / ward, in line with the Policies and Procedures of Nursing Services.
• Responsible to keep Unit Manager informed of any incidents or reportable situations that need nursing administrative involvement.

Education:

Registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse Diploma/Certificate in Nursing Post Basic qualification in related field. Bachelor of Nursing Skills & Competencies: Registered with Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Possess certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS Special skills are required. Proficient in writing and conversing in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Microsoft office literacy Personal attributes Have interpersonal and communication skills.
