You will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety and efficiency standards, and manage engineering aspects of stamping equipment. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of leadership experience in stamping operations. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, which involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Job description

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance overall production capabilities.

Ensures supply chain connectivity of all parts during Product transfer and NPI builds till mass production phase.

Manage the engineering aspects of stamping equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Work closely with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements, innovations, and cost-effective solutions.

Lead the development and maintenance of dies for all projects.

Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure the timely availability of high-quality dies for stamping operations.

Evaluate opportunities for insourcing stamping operations and make informed decisions based on cost, quality, and strategic considerations.

Regularly communicate with senior management, providing updates on production performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.

Generate and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve plant performance.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within stamping operations.

Strong understanding of stamping equipment, die design, and manufacturing processes.

Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
