Job description

Govern, execute and sustain technical engineering competency development as well as non technical competency development – including leadership trainings; towards the targeted demography of competent workforce.

Job Description
  • Perform training validation to assess the trainers’ delivery and trainees’ comprehension meets expectations. Provide a comprehensive summary to the trainees’ superiors after the conducted training and monitor the performance of the trainees over the next six months.
  • Oversee and drive annual competency assessment to ensure timely completion and gap closure after the assessments. Pro-actively review & refine the assessment checklist with respective managers as and when needed.
  • Execute and follow up Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) development plan and monitor effectiveness. Plan and follow up cascading trainings from SME to ensure achieve targeted training hours throughout the year.
  • Digitalize training materials to ensure in-depth understanding on the machine operations.
  • Responsible to oversee the overall OP training cost. By tracking expenses and comparing to planned targets, ensuring the cost is spend within allocated budget. Meantime, to ensure HRDF applications are done in timely manner for every training.
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders on a range of training-related topics and scopes to provide collaborative approach to training that is optimized for effectiveness and tailored to the specific needs of each team.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing or any relevant qualification
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing company. Good knowledge/background on semiconductor industry and its process flow.
  • Effective communication and people management skills across all levels (to be able to build relationships with internal and external parties)
  • Proficient in collaborative teamwork to lead and execute training program across MAL & BE sites
  • Strong planning abilities and the capability to prioritize issues based on urgency for effective execution
  • Excellent presentation skills, facilitation and conflict management skills.
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good in video editing skills.
