Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Staff/Senior/Engineer STPG PE System with a focus on SSD product development and manufacturing support.

The role covers failure analysis from NPI to HVM, data-driven yield evaluation, and cross-functional problem resolution. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering and has hands-on experience with SSDs, storage interfaces (SATA/SAS), and programming in C/C++/Python/Perl.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Relevant SSD industry experience is advantageous.
• Experience with storage interfaces SATA/SAS is advantageous.
• Proficiency in programming languages C, C++, Python, and Perl.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for both product development and supporting high volume manufacturing of SSD.
• Support for SSD failure analysis from NPI to HVM stage.
• Perform manufacturing yield evaluation and data analysis.
• Perform detailed electrical and physical failure analysis and work with other departments to resolve SSD related issues.
• Troubleshooting failure from customer return and provide solutions to fix the problems.

Requirements
