Job summary

Job Overview

Organize, direct and allocate ME team members to support MFG for new project development and process improvement, provide technical resources to team members with the objective to ensure production runs successfully and meets cost‑saving targets within Engineering policies, procedures and systems.

Job Requirements
  • Planning and Budgeting
    Implement department budget and plan, collect performance data of the team and establish the improvement plan, distribute tasks to team members to achieve targeted performance.
  • Policies and Procedures
    Establish working procedures and provide feedback and advice to ensure efficiency for team workflow.
  • People Management and Development
    Allocate work across the team, mentor, develop and motivate team members to achieve performance targets and grow talent.
  • Key project technical Support
    Provide technical support to engineers to ensure key projects run well, effectively supporting production and new business development.
  • New Product pilot run Support
    Implement new product pilot run programs including documentation, tooling/equipment application to support production and business development.
  • Training program support
    Execute IDP programs for engineering development to build an effective team.
  • New project development
    Balance resources to support new project development, effectively supporting production and new business development.
  • Tooling and equipment
    Cooperate with mechanical engineers to develop tooling/fixtures and automation solutions, effectively supporting production and new business development.
What your background should look like
  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Automation or Electrical Engineering, familiar with electrical control theory and design.
  • Minimum 5 years of cable assembly working experience and management experience.
  • Experience specifying, programming, & troubleshooting Servo Controls and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Proven strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
