Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the smooth running of the unit.
- To ensure the implementation of safe nursing care via ongoing supervision and involvement in administrative duties.
- To ensure and have a good working knowledge of all statutory requirements of the Nursing Board of Malaysia and any other legislation related to the work.
- To ensure compliance with established department/unit policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, environmental safety and infection control standards in line with the organization’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
- To ensure the provision and maintenance of a risk‑free working environment in terms of infections and accidents for both patients and others.
- To provide comprehensive care to wholly compensatory patients and their dependents.
- To monitor patients closely and be able to recognize and alert any change in a patient’s condition at all times.
- To ensure staff are competent in dealing with an emergency situation.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Nursing Supervisor or HODs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Expected monthly basic salary.
- Types of qualifications held.
- Years of experience as a Staff Nurse.
- Languages fluent in (e.g., Bahasa Malaysia, English).
- Rating of Bahasa Malaysia language skills.
- Rating of English language skills.
- Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment background check.
- Notice period required to give to current employer.
