Prince Court Medical Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Operating Theatre team. This full-time role will see you playing a vital part in providing excellent patient care throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during and after surgical procedures
• Assisting surgeons and anesthetists during operations by preparing the operating theatre, sterilizing equipment and monitoring patients
• Administering medications and fluids as prescribed, and monitoring patients' vital signs and health status
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
• Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
• Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications

• A registered nurse with a valid practising certificate
• At least 3 years of experience in operating theatre
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the healthcare team
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Commitment to providing the highest standards of patient-centered care
