Job Description
  • Perform chemical analysis using GCMS, LCQTOF, DHS (Outgassing), FTIR and IC instruments according to established test methods and reliability requirements
  • Providing expert guidance to engineering teams on technical matters
  • Leading research and development efforts to explore new technologies and methodologies.
  • Encouraging innovation within the team and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that lab activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, to have full involvement in quality audits.
  • Oversee analytical data and ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with development team for local technology upgrade or improvement.
  • Provide clear vision/mission to the lab team towards business accomplishment.
Additional Information
  • Qualification
    • Master degree or Bachelor degree, majoring in Chemistry
  • SKILLS:
    • Experience in commercial lab and disk drive industry is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of AI application is preferred
    • Expertise in data analysis and problem‑solving.
    • Proficient in quality control skills, including the use of 7QC tools, MSA, SPC, 8D reports, DOE, etc.
    • Familiar with reporting and data analysis software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, JMP).
    • Detail‑oriented, action‑driven, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently to deliver high‑quality solutions.
    • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional team members and excellent communication skills.
    • Proficient in both verbal and written English.
