Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Characterize new smart devices during their development phase, ensuring their performance meets the highest standards.
• Be directly included in the product development team, driving collaboration and co-creation in every phase of product realization.
• Develop automated test procedures for advanced, state-of-the-art test systems to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Develop new and enhance existing test packages (test software & hardware) for smart power ICs
• Engage in hardware development at the schematic level to support robust product characterization.
• Perform in-depth data analysis and performance assessments, providing valuable insights for product improvements.
• Innovate and implement new verification methodologies, pushing the boundaries of existing processes.
• Contribute to the development of the test framework, enabling seamless usage by your colleagues within the CV (Characterization and Validation) team.
• Maintain a strong connection with other departments like Test Engineering and Application Engineering, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

You are best equipped for this job if you have:

• Successfully completed a degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in measurement technology, product development, or a comparable area.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab, Visual Basic, or C++ for developing and automating advanced test processes.
• Experience at Advantest V93K, Teradyne uFlex is an advantage.
• Experience with layout tools such as Eagle or Altium Designer (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and the interpretation of complex electronic measurements.
• Fluency in English (German language skills will be considered a plus).
