Job summary

R Systems is seeking an SSRS Migration Developer to convert Crystal Reports 2008 reports to SSRS 2019 for a large-scale migration project. You will work on approximately 211 reports, potentially consolidating up to 77, and integrate the results into an existing ASP-based CNS application on Windows Server 2019.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SSRS 2019.
• Strong experience with Crystal Reports, preferably 2008 or similar.
• Proven Crystal Reports to SSRS migration/conversion projects.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries.
• Experience with ASP / Classic ASP integration.
• Good VB.NET development skills and integration experience.
• Experience configuring IIS and ODBC.
• Experience integrating SSRS with existing enterprise apps.
• Competence in report performance, formatting, parameters and datasets.
• Familiarity with OWASP standards and security scanning tools (Veracode preferred).
• Experience operating in SIT, UAT, DR and Production environments.

Responsibilities

• Convert Crystal Reports 2008 reports to SSRS 2019 preserving functionality and look.
• Handle about 211 reports, with possible consolidation of up to 77.
• Develop reusable SSRS components for headers and common elements.
• Integrate converted SSRS reports with the CNS application without building a new reporting app.
• Expose report links/endpoints for CNS to call and publish from ASP frontend.
• Work with VB.NET backend and batch programs as required.
• Configure and support SSRS, MS SQL, IIS and ODBC across environments (SIT/UAT/DR/Prod).
• Create technical docs: FSD, TSD, SSRS diagrams, setup guides; ensure OWASP/security compliance.
• Perform unit testing and prepare SIT test scripts; support post-deployment issues.
