Job summary

21 DexCom Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an experienced Production Leader to set goals, manage resources, and guide a production team toward reliable, compliant delivery. You will mentor supervisors, ensure safety and quality, and work with cross‑functional partners to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing production team aligned with Dexcom’s behaviors.
• Address performance issues and resolve conflicts while maintaining Safety and Quality as priorities.
• Develop individuals and deliver a balanced scorecard of deliverables in collaboration with leadership.
• Promote cross-training and business continuity to minimize production interruptions.
• Ensure adherence to the Dexcom Production System and coordinate across shifts and functions.
• Drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
• Support new product introductions into commercial manufacturing as required.
• Stay informed about global programs affecting team execution.

Meet the team

This position will set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concepts and approaches, review production performance and results, and make decisions to ensure production deliverables are achieved. This job spends a significant amount of time leading a production team as well as mentoring other supervisors.

Responsibilities

• You build and lead your team, ensure you have a highly motivated, high-performance team that operates to Dexcom’s desired behaviors.
• You are responsible for addressing people’s performance issues and conflict resolutions if they arise.
• You ensure a culture within production where Safety and Quality are a priority.
• You focus on development of the individuals on the team for the benefit of the individual and Dexcom.
• You lead your production team to deliver balanced scorecard of deliverables pre agreed with the leadership team, work closely with and influencing your cross-functional partners to deliver these.
• You ensure due consideration is given to cross training and business continuity to minimize interruption to production.
• You ensure that you and the team operate the Dexcom Production System.
• You engage actively as required to ensure resolution of issues and challenges.
• You coordinate and/or act as a liaison between work area, shifts, and functions.
• You ensure that the Production team executes in conformity with company and/or industry policies, procedures and regulations.
• You drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
• You support new product introductions into commercial manufacturing as required.
• You remain up to date on global programs that will impact teams’ execution.
• You can assume to performs other duties as assigned.

• You have experience of working in the medical device industry and/or within a digital factory manufacturing environment as an advantage.
• Ideally you are experienced with start-up & scale-up organizations.
