Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, GPU systems, networking equipment, and configurations in data centers.
- Service and diagnose issues with replaceable components in various GPU systems.
- Resolve escalations promptly and provide Linux support when necessary.
- Collaborate with managers to develop service programs, share technical knowledge, and train new engineers on data center operations.
- Travel to data centers to address customer issues and deliver hands‑on training.
- Take ownership of the customer base, demonstrate independence, and resolve technical problems effectively within data centers.
- Manage time efficiently, work flexible hours, and travel between data center locations as required.
- Produce detailed reports and metrics on data center operations and performance.
- On‑call rotation during weekends & holidays (in the future).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Hands‑on experience with servers (Supermicro, EMC, DELL, HP, Nvidia).
- Strong hardware diagnostics skills and experience with BIOS, UEFI Shell, PXE, and DOS.
- Certification or experience in Windows and Linux environments (large enterprise experience is a plus).
- Proven break/fix and on‑site customer service experience.
- Strong technical communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, project management, and time management skills.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficient in English - Fluent (spoken and written)
