Job description

An International PMC hiring for multiple vacancies for Senior Project Managers (CSA), Senior Project Managers (MEP), QAQC Managers and HSE Managers for their data centre construction projects in Johor Bahru. Must have data centre construction experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the review and management of CSA tender scope, ensuring technical and programme compliance from tender issuance through to award.

Coordinate with design consultants and internal stakeholders to align tender documentation with project requirements.

Evaluate contractor submissions for compliance, value engineering opportunities, and programme feasibility.

Early Works Management

Prepare and manage early works tender packages, including direct negotiations where applicable.

Oversee execution of early works, including:

  • Piling and pile caps
  • In-ground services
Site setup and logistics

Review and coordination of drawings and WS3-4 design drawings.

Ensure compliance with AHJ (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) requirements for commencement of works.

Lead CSA scope from pre-construction through to early works completion.

Interface with client, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and quality.

Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Candidate Preferences

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on CSA works.

Proven track record in early works, sub and superstructure works for large-scale data centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of local authority processes, permitting, and compliance requirements.

Experience managing early works packages and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Excellent leadership, communication, and contract administration skills.

Familiarity with technical trades including structural, civil, and architectural disciplines.

Position 3: QAQC Managers (MEP) - Data Centre Construction Experience- Johor Bahru- PMC

A MEP QA/QC Manager oversees and implements the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on a project to ensure they meet specifications, industry standards, and project requirements. Their responsibilities include reviewing technical documentation, conducting site inspections, managing quality control teams, addressing non-conformances, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring final handover documentation is complete and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Quality Plans: Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures for MEP systems.
  • Review Documentation: Review project drawings, technical specifications, material submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct Inspections & Audits: Perform site inspections and audits to verify that all MEP installation work conforms to design documents and project standards.
  • Manage Quality Team: Lead and mentor the site's QA/QC team, including engineers, inspectors, and document controllers.
  • Address Non-Conformances: Investigate quality issues and non-conformances, identify root causes, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.

A CSA QAQC Manager is a construction management role responsible for ensuring that all CSA work packages and related project activities meet predefined design, safety, and quality standards. They typically oversee on-site activities, manage subcontractors, and work with project teams to maintain the quality of architectural, civil, and structural components of a construction project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Oversight: Implementing and maintaining quality assurance and control policies and procedures for CSA-related work.
  • On-Site Management: Supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Safety and Standards: Ensuring all CSA works adhere to relevant safety standards and project requirements.

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) roles.
  • Experience in data centre or industrial construction environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, compliance, and statutory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage site safety, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Active Green Book Holder with DOSH – please provide license number in the application.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and best practices.
  • Ability to lead and implement HSE initiatives across project and construction teams
