A leading electronics manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Ideal candidates should have around 3 years of experience in PCBA or electronics manufacturing, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English, plus knowledge of Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia, is preferred. Hands-on experience in managing contract manufacturers is a plus. Job description

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; candidates with around 3 years of relevant experience in the PCBA or electronics manufacturing environment will be considered an added advantage.
• Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including customers, which is an advantage to the candidate.
• Working knowledge or exposure to electronic components used in PCBA, raw PCB materials, mechanical parts, and SMT, DIP, or functional test (FT) assembly processes is preferable.
• Hands-on exposure to motherboard or computer/server device assembly, including electrical components, testing, and inspection activities, is considered an added value.
• Possesses strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills, with familiarity or exposure to structured problem-solving tools such as 8D or Six Sigma being an added advantage; related certifications (e.g., PMP) are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia language capabilities are considered an added advantage for effective communication in a multi-cultural environment.
• Familiarity with hands-on experience in managing Contract Manufacturers (CM), is considered an added advantage.
• Experience with Fortune 500 EMS/ODM/OED electronics manufacture companies is highly preferred.
