Job Overview
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Executive responsible for the planning, implementation and management of the EHS strategy at the plant level.
Key Responsibilities
- EHS planning, implementation and management of the local integrated management system in accordance with EHS Guideline and ISO 14001/50001/45001.
 
- Control of implementation using key figures that ensure reliable measurability.
 
- Plan and conduct system and process audits, derive improvement measures and establish effective follow‑up mechanisms.
 
- Plan projects for further development of the integrated system, e.g., BU‑wide occupational safety programs and best‑practice transfer.
 
- Develop plant‑wide emergency response plans and risk‑management documents together with the Business Unit EHS representative and local plant officers.
 
- Provide information and advice to plant and department managers on legal and normative changes in the EHS context.
 
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company OH&S and environmental regulations, in collaboration with QM/QA management.
 
- Cooperate on the lean transformation of the units.
 
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent science qualification; official certificates of competence such as safety engineer.
 
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in EHS (occupational health and safety, environmental protection), with practical production and management systems experience.
 
- Excellent English and qualification as internal auditor, EM‑Officer and/or Safety Officer.
 
- Basic knowledge of risk management.
