Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing Engineering Teams are process leaders for stamping, molding, or assembly-related topics, ensuring processes operate at optimal levels for quality and output. They are experts in mold tooling, die tooling, machining, and assembly techniques, with extensive knowledge of related manufacturing processes. Their responsibilities include process optimization, standardization, and supporting manufacturing excellence initiatives such as Centers of Excellence (COE) and Best Demonstrated Practices (BDPs). They design and develop manufacturing processes and automation platforms for new product development and existing product optimization. Additionally, they support product development in tool selection and process optimization, ensuring manufacturability of new designs, smooth ramp-up, and R&D prototyping.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing performance
  • Support development and implementation of efficient production processes and tools
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams on new product introductions
  • Analyze and resolve production issues using root cause and corrective action methods
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices including 5S and waste reduction
  • Maintain and update process documentation and standard work procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and production staff

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and analytical skills
  • Experience in electronics or connectivity manufacturing is an advantage
