Job Summary

Supermicro is looking for a Miantenance Technician to handle troubleshooting and maintenance of automated storage and retrieval systems, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles and lifts. Ensures minimal downtime, safe operation and continous material flow.

Responsibilities
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
    • Perform scheduled inspedtions and maintenance on ASRS equipment, conveyors, lifts, shuttles and control panels.
    • Lubricate and clean mechanical components to prevent wear & malfunction.
    • Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and log maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs:
    • Diagnose & repair mechanical, electrical or control system failure.
    • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, sensors, actuators and motors.
    • Collaborate with OEM support when required for complex failures.
  • System Monitoring & Optimization:
    • Monitor system performance and report anomalies or repetitive faults.
    • Make real-time adjustments to improve machine performance and reduce downtime.
    • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Adhere to warehouse safety protocols and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
    • Inspect safety devices such as light curtains, e-stops and barricades.
    • Ensure ASRS operation comply with local safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Inventory & Documentation:
    • Maintain proper records of maintenance work, parts used and fault logs.
    • Assist in managing spare parts inventory for ASRS components.
    • Update equipment documentation and electrical schematics when modifications are made.
  • Team support & Communication:
    • Work closely with operations team to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
    • Support system upgrades or new installation as needed.
    • Train operators on basic troubleshooting and safe use of ASRS systems.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent. Candidate who has related certification will be consider.
  • Preferrable candidate who have strong technical skills in electrical maintenance & troubleshooting (motors, sensros, relays, PLCs) and mechanical skills (bearing, conveyors, lifts, gearboxes, hydraulic, penumatics)
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals & interpret schematics is an advantage.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance softhware and logs is a plus.
  • Basic networking and software skills for automated system is a plus.
  • Ideally candidate with 2 years of experience with warehouse automation systems or equipment maintenance.
  • Preferred to have ASRS maintenance experience.

  • Responsibilty and Discipline: Punctuality, discipline and consistent maintenenace quality.
  • Learning ability: Ability to continously absorb new equipment and technologies.
  • Collaborative team player with strong relatoionship-building and communication skills. including cross-functional-building and communication skills, inclluding cross-functional engagement with Operations and IT, and the ability o peform effectively under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential issues.
