Job summary

Airswift is looking for a SPS Mechanical Completion & QC Coordinator in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to support a major FPSO and subsea production network. The role focuses on mechanical completion, quality control, equipment readiness, and final handover across multiple fabrication and manufacturing locations.

You will operate in a multinational project environment where QA, schedule coordination, and stakeholder communication are critical to successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years offshore oil and gas project experience.
• Experience with Subsea Production Systems and subsea equipment manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating inspection, release, and handover across multiple locations.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, inspection agencies, and manufacturing facilities.
• Fluency in English and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support major FPSO and complex subsea production network.
• Focus on subsea production systems, mechanical completion, quality control, equipment readiness, and final handover across multiple fabrication and manufacturing locations.
• Coordinate third-party inspection services and review inspection reports.
• Maintain documentation and handover dossiers to ensure timely project delivery.

Role Overview

This opportunity supports a major FPSO and a complex subsea production network. The role focuses on Subsea Production Systems, mechanical completion, quality control, equipment readiness, and final handover across multiple fabrication and manufacturing locations. This position offers involvement in a technically demanding, multinational project environment where quality assurance, schedule coordination, and stakeholder communication are critical to successful delivery.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification

Required Experience

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience within offshore oil and gas projects
• Prior experience with deepwater FPSO given additional advantage
• Demonstrated experience with Subsea Production Systems, subsea equipment manufacturing, quality control, mechanical completion, or equipment handover activities
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, inspection agencies, and manufacturing facilities
• Experience coordinating inspection, equipment release, and handover activities across multiple locations
