As a Sports Advisor (Sales), or 'Sports Advisor' as we call it, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly and professional welcome to a quick and easy payment process, your goal is to deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Responsibilities:

1. To Customers

• Welcome customers professionally.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and find suitable solutions for issues like returns, complaints, and checkout.
• Educate customers on omni-channel brand offerings and product ranges.
• Know the technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate items.
• Develop a network of customers both in-store and online to build relationships.
• Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
• Encourage customer registration for loyalty programs.
• Participate in sports-related community events nearby.

2. To Decathlon Malaysia

• Align with departmental goals and work with the team to achieve them.
• Promote innovation and the sports experience in-store.
• Use resources and tools to boost sales.
• Arrange the store layout according to guidelines and principles.
• Create high-quality store displays based on customer satisfaction principles.
• Maintain attractive store presentation.
• Ensure stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system.
• Raise awareness about Decathlon Connect among stakeholders.

3. For Safety of People and Goods

• Enforce safety and security standards.
• Know and follow fire safety and evacuation procedures.
• Implement security procedures to prevent shrinkage.
• Follow product safety policies, including traceability and expiry dates.

4. Development and Skills Enhancement

• Manage personal development and training plans.
• Participate in training and develop training skills to become a trainer.
• Help teammates improve skills under leadership guidance.
