Overview

Opportunity to join a leading MNC in building materials. The company is well known for their high quality surface laminates.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to ensure the company's products are specified in projects, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify and build relationships with new clients to grow market share.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Deliver impactful product presentations to architects, designers, and key stakeholders, highlighting product benefits and features.
  • Work closely with main contractors and carpenters to position the company's products as the preferred choice, driving immediate sales opportunities.
  • Monitor specification progress, track success rates, and follow up to convert specifications into confirmed sales.
  • Coordinate with internal teams—marketing, accounts, logistics, and customer service—for seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Keep accurate records of specifications, project status, and client interactions for reporting and analysis.
  • Collect and share market insights with management to support strategic decision‑making.
Qualifications

A successful Specification Executive should have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the building materials or architectural products industry with a proven track record of specification and sales.
  • Strong understanding of product specifications and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical information effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
