The Day‑To‑Day Activities
Sales & Performance Support
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and achieving sales targets.
- Handle cash management and daily sales reconciliation.
- Drive individual and team sales performance to meet and exceed targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide feedback to the team to ensure targets are met.
Team Supervision & Development
- Supervise and train Sales Associates/Agents, ensuring adherence to sales processes and customer service standards.
- Lead the team effectively during assigned shifts.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members to improve their performance and skill sets.
- Assist in the onboarding of new sales associates.
Customer Service & Operations
- Manage inventory, product displays, and store cleanliness.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure excellent customer service is consistently provided to all customers.
- Oversee visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing store environment.
- Implement company policies and procedures during shifts.
Administrative & Reporting
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required.
- Ensure accurate data entry for all sales and customer transactions.
About You
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent experience in retail or customer service.
- At least 1‑3 years of relevant working experience in a retail sales or customer service role, with some supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven ability to assist in achieving sales targets.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to resolve customer inquiries effectively.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using point‑of‑sales systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
