Today, it is the #1 way people play football and futsal in Singapore, and is rapidly expanding internationally via a license partner model, with locations in Australia, India, USA, UAE, and South Africa.

Role

The selected candidate(s) will work closely with the License Owner, in growing Stranger Soccer’s player base and brand presence in Kuala Lumpur through marketing, outreach, and partnership initiatives. We are looking for a social media and marketing dynamo!

Responsibilities
  • Overall management of Kuala Lumpur’s IG, FB, and TikTok accounts – e.g. optimize and maintain appearance, respond to chats, and ensure consistent brand tone.
  • Plan and create engaging local content and promotions each week.
  • Maintain daily “stories,” leveraging local community highlights and game photos.
  • Grow followers and manage engagement with the local football community.
In-app communications
  • Manage all communication channels in the Kuala Lumpur app – notifications, banners, promotions, and featured games – ensuring content is fresh and current.
  • Coordinate with HQ on regional campaigns and ensure brand consistency across the platform.
Other Monthly Marketing Initiatives
  • Plan, create, and project manage monthly promotions, collaborations, and local marketing campaigns.
  • Support community outreach and football events to drive player growth and engagement.
Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years of experience (or equivalent know-how) specifically in social media (and marketing). Looking for a social media WHIZ!
  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Passion for community engagement
  • Friendly, positive attitude and team player
  • Interest in football is a BIG PLUS
  • Hospitality experience a PLUS
