Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Meetings, Travel, Cards

Job Summary
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting the management of procurement and services delivery processes with a focus on Meetings and Travel and with the opportunity to expand expertise into other procurement areas as needed. The ideal candidate should possess a procurement background, expertise in Travel & Meetings commodities, experience in managing supplier performance, and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for meetings and travel.
- Supervise supplier service delivery and act as the escalation contact for market stakeholders.
- Manage suppliers’ performance.
- Analyze spending patterns, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize expenditure.
- Keep contract expirations under control and proactively ensure a good plan for renewal and/or RFPs.
- Collect business requirements for RFP purposes.
- Implement new tools and policy changes.
- Conduct data analysis to track and report on procurement and services delivery metrics, performance, and trends for continuous improvement.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a demonstrated record of customer focus, service-oriented mindset, supplier management, and analytics management in Pharmaceutical MNCs.
- Fluent in English.
- Specific experience in Meetings and Travel Operations.
- Background in Procurement, Supplier Management, and Analytics.
- Excellent verbal & written communication, collaboration, negotiation, influencing, and decision‑making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science or equivalent.
- Ability to develop, articulate, and build support around a long‑term vision and implement milestones needed to drive realization of that vision.
- A positive, engaging disposition with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision.
