Specialist/ Advisor - HR (ER/IR)
Responsibilities
- Industrial Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for shopfloor employees regarding workplace concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain records of disciplinary actions, warning letters, and domestic inquiries in accordance with the Company policy.
- Conduct exit interviews, identify root causes for attrition, and submit periodic analysis reports.
- Coordinate and participate in employee engagement activities and communication forums (e.g., tea talk, town hall, etc.).
- Employee Relations
- Develop, implement and manage employee relations programs and initiatives to promote a positive workplace activity required by the Company.
- Create and administer employee recognition programs to acknowledge and rewards outstanding performance and achievements.
- Plan and organize employee events such as annual dinner, JCC, contest on major festival, and any ad-hoc activity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in all employee programs and activities.
- Employee Grievance and Suggestion
- Manage the Employee Suggestion Box.
- Collect and review suggestions accordingly.
- Liaise with relevant departments for feedback and implementation.
- Ensure closure and communication of feedback to employees.
- Policy Development and Implementation
- To help establish ER/IR process flow, procedures, policies and guidelines.
- Conduct training or awareness sessions on ER/IR policies.
- Data Analysis, Reporting and Others
- To support ER/IR Manager to monitor and analyze ER metrics and trends to proactively address issues and recommend improvements.
- To perform any other tasks that assigned to you by your supervisor.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance.
- Experience with blue-collar workforce management.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-driven, trustworthy, reliable, personality with an organized and integrative work-style
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Intercultural awareness with an open mind
- Excellent communication skills and a high work ethic
- Good in interpersonal and communication skill.
