Ed'therapy in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is hiring a Kindergarten Teacher with a focus on Special Needs Education. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing individualized education plans, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Special Needs Education, Psychology, Education/Teaching/Training, or equivalent.
• Fresh grads are welcome to apply.
• Must have a compassionate and positive attitude ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and own position with these roles and be able to enthuse and inspire children.
• This position is open to Malaysian citizens only.
• Working hours (9am-5pm)

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and aids to facilitate active learning.
• Develop and prepare differentiation in curriculum and lessons to cater student with different ability levels.
• Make contact and teaching time with students on an individual, class or small group basis and developing programmes of learning activities.
• Develop and review IEP and EIP for different student needs.
• Prepare and write assessment and progress report.
• Encourage and implement inclusion setting through teaching methodologies.
• Meet and liaise with parents regularly, train and ensure that they are clear on their expected roles and responsibilities in the development and education of their child.
• Work as a team with other staff members in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
• Carry out any other tasks entrusted by Management.
