Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑to‑one therapy sessions tailored to individual children's needs.
  • Assist senior therapists in planning and delivering individualized therapy sessions both in‑person and remotely.
  • Prepare reports, session notes, and therapy materials to document progress and plan future sessions.
  • Engage children in activities aimed at improving communication, social skills, behavior, and daily living skills.
  • Help clients (children and families) reflect on issues to support positive change and development.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to adapt therapy plans as needed.
  • Set up contracts with clients to establish clear goals and expectations for therapy sessions.
  • Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals at home, including through remote communication.
  • Willingness to travel to support clients as needed.
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for all clients, whether in‑person or online.
Qualifications
