About the role

As a Sous Chef / Chef De Partie at THE BREW HOUSE, you will play a crucial role in our vibrant kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day culinary operations. This full-time position is based in our Penang location, where you will be responsible for leading and motivating a talented team of chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

What you'll be doing
  • Assist the Head Chef in all kitchen-related duties, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control
  • Oversee the execution of dishes, ensuring consistent high standards of taste and presentation
  • Manage and train a team of chefs, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items and culinary concepts
  • Optimise kitchen operations and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef De Partie in a reputable restaurant or hotel kitchen
