  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Contribute to recipe development and innovation, creating new and exciting sourdough-based products while maintaining the quality and consistency of existing menu items.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, minimizing waste and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies for daily operations, with a focus on sourcing high-quality ingredients.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality and presentation, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain efficient kitchen operations, particularly during peak hours.

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in recipe development and menu planning, contributing creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the bakery's offerings and cater to customer preferences.
  • Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and spoilage, and adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Oversee the preparation and baking of sourdough products, ensuring proper fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques are followed to achieve consistent quality and desired characteristics.
