Job description

A Japanese MNC company located in Shah Alam, Selangor. They specialize in producing high-performance sports equipment, particularly for golf and tennis. They provide top-notch gear for athletes and sports enthusiasts, leveraging over 130 years of experience in the industry.

Job responsibilities:

• Liaise with overseas customers and suppliers regarding sports accessories sourcing.
• Communicate and drive implementation opportunities for global customers.
• Negotiate prices and terms to provide customers with optimal supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality, and delivery performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Follow up on product development timelines, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any delays promptly.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate the development of new products from concept to production.
• Review and approve product samples, ensuring they meet quality and design specifications.
• Track and manage the progress of product development projects, providing regular updates.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure that all product specifications and requirements are clearly communicated and understood by suppliers.
• Set up proper product data, code creation, and manage packaging and shipping instructions.
• Conduct supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and market conditions.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as supply chain and logistics, to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Job requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma holder in any discipline.
• Basic skills in Adobe Illustrator are a plus.

Job details:
