Key Responsibilities
Supplier Management & Procurement
- Source and procure electronic components, raw materials, and services from local and international suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for PCBA components including PCBs, semiconductors, passive components, and mechanical parts based on technical capability, quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements to achieve cost savings and supply reliability.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance on quality, delivery, and pricing consistency.
- Actively support RFQ processes to ensure the Company presents competitive and correct quotations to its Customers.
Cost Optimization & Risk Management
- Analyse market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Develop sourcing alternatives to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, quality, production) to resolve sourcing-related challenges.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination
- Work closely with procurement and planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
- Anticipate and manage potential supply chain disruptions or delays.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all sourced materials comply with RoHS, REACH, and relevant industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Keep up to date with regulatory requirements and company compliance standards.
Other Responsibilities
- Support and comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Ensure all sourcing activities align with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- From time to time participate in Supplier audits.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within the PCBA or electronics manufacturing industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of PCBA components and global supplier markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess cost structures and drive cost efficiency.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, international logistics, and supply chain risk management is an advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
