Job summary

CloudMile in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead digital transformation for enterprise clients by aligning technology strategies with business goals. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise cloud architecture, pre-sales, and solution design.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building sales pipelines in cloud for enterprise accounts.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, containerization, cloud security.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a strong advantage.
• Experience working with enterprise clients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with C-level executives and stakeholders to align business strategies with IT initiatives.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints bridging business goals and tech strategies.
• Drive multi-year technology roadmaps guiding cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.
• Lead enterprise architecture governance, standards, and policies for security and interoperability.
• Architect end-to-end solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, GCP, MongoDB, Confluent, and similar tools.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable, secure enterprise solutions across applications, data, and infra.
• Conduct architectural assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for optimization.
• Guide selection and integration of enterprise platforms and SaaS solutions including AI/ML and automation.
• Participate in RFP and business case development.
• Foster partnerships with cloud service providers to deliver integrated cloud solutions.

As a Solution Architect at CloudMile, you will lead the digital transformation journeys of enterprise clients by aligning technology strategies with business goals. Acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, you'll architect scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that foster innovation, operational excellence, and agility across organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to align business strategies with IT initiatives
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints framework that bridge business goals and technology strategies
• Drive the development of multi-year technology roadmaps, guiding cloud adoption, digital transformation, and modernization initiatives
• Lead enterprise architecture governance, standards, and policies, ensuring compliance, security, and interoperability across business units
• Architect end-to-end solutions that leverage best-in-class technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, MongoDB, Confluent, etc.)
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions, integrating application, data, and infrastructure architectures
• Conduct architectural assessments to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization, delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders
• Guide the selection and integration of enterprise platforms, SaaS solutions, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, security)
• Participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) and business case development
• Foster strong partnerships between CloudMile and key cloud service providers to deliver integrated, innovative cloud solutions tailored to client needs

About you

• 3-5 years of experience in enterprise cloud architecture, pre-sales, and solution design
• Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong sales pipelines in the cloud domain, particularly in enterprise accounts
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, containerization, cloud security, and ISV such as MongoDB and Confluent
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities; skilled at crafting secure, cost‑effective, and scalable cloud architectures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Architect Expert) are a strong advantage
• Experience working with enterprise clients is essential
