Job summary

Celestica is seeking a senior software engineer to port SDKs across multiple Network OS platforms, develop API test scripts, and support FCT bring-up. The role requires deep Linux experience, strong ownership in design, and solid English communication.

Collaborating with HW/SI/QA teams, you will help track issues and contribute to robust networking software solutions. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software development, proficiency in C/C++, Python, Shell, and Git, plus familiarity with L2/L3

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C/C++, shell, Python.
• Strong ownership of function design.
• Experience in SW design under Linux.
• Well-versed in Linux commands.
• Familiar with Git.
• Experience porting SDKs under Linux/ONL/SONiC/DENT a plus.
• Familiar with L2/L3 protocols; SDK bring-up a plus.
• Good communication and English skills.
• Experience porting Broadcom/Innovium/Marvell/Barefoot SDK is a plus.

Job description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Porting SDK under different Network OS (ONL/SONiC/CentOS...)


• SDK test scripts and API development


• Support FCT bring up and FCT issue track


• Co-work with HW/SI/QA team to track issues

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of software development experience.


• Proficient in C/C++,shell,Python.


• Good sensitive of ownership on function design.


• Experience in SW design under Linux.


• Well-versed in Linux commands


• Familiar with Git


• Experienced in porting one of Broadcom/Innovium/Marvell/Barefoot SDK under Linux/ONL/SONiC/DENT will be plus


• Familiar with L2/L3 protocol. Experienced in SDK bring up will be plus


• Know well about signal quality diagnose will be plus


• Good communication skills and English skills.
