Job summary

A reputable technology firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Quality Engineer (Tester) to ensure the quality and compliance of software development projects. The role involves extensive QA responsibilities, including testing, documentation, and communication with project teams. Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering, possess strong database management skills, and have effective communication abilities in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Experience with handheld application development is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in IT or Engineering.
• Experience in QA strategy, processes, and tools is essential.
• Hands-on experience with new and legacy computing environments required.
• Knowledge of relational databases and database applications is crucial.
• Experience in handheld application development is desirable.
• Management experience in MS SQL Server database is needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Good written and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Communicate work plans and status to management.
• Prioritize project requirements with project teams.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and regression testing.
• Integrate QA engineering functions on all software projects.
• Review application development projects for quality.
• Create and maintain documentation for QA procedures.
