Job description
Software Engineering Director (Delivery Lead)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Director (Delivery Lead) to drive the design, development, and delivery of Adobe Experience Manager solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of highly skilled engineers, collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performance digital experiences.

Position Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of AEM‑based solutions.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to AEM developers, as well as front‑end, back‑end and other full‑stack engineers.
    • Define best practices and enforce coding standards.
  • Project Delivery:
    • Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Oversee development sprints, code reviews, and deployment processes.
    • Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality features and enhancements.
  • Platform Expertise:
    • Customize and extend AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
    • Optimize AEM performance, scalability, and security.
    • Preferably experience with AEM cloud environment, Cloud Manager and other Adobe MarTech solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
    • Work closely with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in web development, with 3+ years in AEM.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, JCR, Sling, OSGi, and Apache Felix.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Hands‑on experience with AEM 6.x, including Sites, Assets, and Forms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM.
  • Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
