DHL IT Services in Cyberjaya, Malaysia is seeking a WebMethods Developer to design, develop and maintain integration services as part of Artemis shipping platform. You will modernize architecture by containerizing services and building scalable microservices, working closely with DevOps and agile teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on Java, REST, SQL and messaging patterns, plus debugging, performance tuning and cloud-ready deployments. Fluency in English and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Formación

• Experience with the webMethods integration platform: design, develop, test and debug integration services using webMethods Designer and Integration Server.
• Configure webMethods JDBC adapters to interface with relational databases.
• Build and consume RESTful web services using JSON and YAML contracts.
• Package, deploy and manage webMethods Microservices Runtime (MSR) components using Docker containers orchestrated within Kubernetes clusters.

As a WebMethods Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions. You will play a key role in modernizing our architecture by containerizing services and implementing scalable microservices. We are looking for a proactive engineer who is passionate about building high-quality projects, learning new technologies, and going the extra mile to ensure project success.

Technical competencies

• Experience with the webMethods integration platform: design, develop, test and debug integration services using webMethods Designer and Integration Server
• Implement and configure webMethods JDBC adapters to interface with relational databases
• Build and consume RESTful web services using JSON and YAML contracts
• Configure pub-sub patterns using Universal Messaging
• Provide technical support, monitor environments, analyse log metrics, and troubleshoot runtime or performance bottlenecks
• Strong knowledge of Java programming, SQL, PL/SQL, JSON, YAML, Spring Framework, JUnit, Maven, REST and Git Flow
• Package, deploy and manage webMethods Microservices Runtime (MSR) components using Docker containers orchestrated within Kubernetes clusters
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build, automate and maintain deployment pipelines for containerised webMethods services
• Hands-on experience with microservice-based architectures

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written English
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum software development frameworks
• Interest in working in a multicultural, dynamic environment
• Passion for learning new technologies and building new projects
• Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure project success

Nice to have

• Experience with scalable cloud systems and dependable distributed systems
• Knowledge of Java frameworks (e.g. Camel Quarkus)
• Experience with automated test frameworks (e.g. REST Assured, Robot Framework)
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Basic knowledge of messaging infrastructure (e.g. IBM webMethods Universal Messaging, Kafka, IBM MQ)
