The successful candidate will be adept at managing the entire software development lifecycle, delivering high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.

Job Description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality web applications using best practices.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front‑end functionality, manage the codebase using version control systems like Git, and collaborate with team members through branching, merging, and pull request workflows.

• Monitor and maintain application environments (development, staging, and production) to ensure high availability and scalability.

• Develop and execute unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests that are critical to maintaining code quality, along with identifying and fixing bugs and performance issues.

• Update and enhance existing applications based on user feedback and changing requirements, refactor and optimize code for better performance and maintainability.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications, respond and resolve user‑reported issues promptly, and document support processes.

• Prepare and maintain documentation of code changes to ensure clarity and continuity within the development process.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a qualification in Degree in a relevant discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

• Proficiency in PHP, SQL, and JavaScript.

• Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React.js, React Native, Angular, Vue.js is preferable.

• Proficiency in at least one or more server‑side language such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .NET, or bash shell scripting is preferable.

• Familiar with Linux/BSD operating systems.

• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Proficiency in using GitHub.

• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and server management.

• Able to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

• Able to work in the office at Bukit Jalil, KL.
