Job summary

NSS IT Solution Sdn Bhd in Cyberjaya invites final-year students to undertake an internship in software development, focusing on web and enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core / ASP.NET MVC. You will collaborate with engineers on coding, debugging, testing, and documentation, and help develop RESTful APIs, databases, and user interfaces.

The program offers mentorship, exposure to modern tools, and a potential conversion to a permanent role upon successful completion, with a monthly pay

Qualifications

• Final semester student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum internship duration of 4-6 months.
• Basic knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core / ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, and RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to WPF, NHibernate, Web Services, or similar technologies is an added advantage.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, interfaces, and hardware components is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Possess good command of written and spoken English to effectively communicate within the development team and participate in technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of web and enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core / ASP.NET MVC, and related technologies.
• Participate in software coding, debugging, testing, and documentation activities.
• Collaborate with software engineers and project team members to analyse business requirements and propose system improvements.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, database components, and user interfaces.
• Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Learn and apply software development best practices, coding standards, and version control processes.
