Job summary

OGC BUILDER SDN.BHD is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and implement software applications in line with company requirements. You will write, modify, and maintain code while troubleshooting issues and upgrading applications as technologies evolve.

The role involves updating databases, performing testing and maintenance, and providing user support. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in IT/CS/SE, strong SQL/database knowledge, and at least 2 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering.
Knowledge of SQL and database management.
Proficiency in programming and software development.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement software applications according to company requirements.
Write, modify and maintain programming code.
Troubleshoot and resolve software errors and technical issues.
Upgrade and improve applications when new technologies or business requirements are introduced.
Update and maintain databases and system information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Perform system testing, debugging and maintenance.
Provide technical support and assistance to users when required.
Work independently and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Perform other IT-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
